ICI Mace Snag Tester Applications:　　

For evaluating degree of outerwear knitted silk fabric and other easy to hook wire hook, which is especially suitable for chemical fiber, filament and textured yarn fabric. Fabrics, non-woven fabric and tufted fabric having a mesh structure does not apply

ICI Mace Snag Tester is designed for rapidly determining the tendency of fabrics to snag (pull yarn loops from the fabric) in normal wear.

ICI Mace Snag Tester principle：

Cylindrical sample sets on the drum, with a chain hanging hammer placed on the surface of the sample. When the drum is rotated at a constant speed, the hammers randomly flips the sample surface, beating, and hook the sample, the sample surface to produce hook wire. After a predetermined number of revolutions, compared to the standard sample according to the degree of snagging a sample rating

ICI Mace Snag Tester adapted to detect outerwear knitted and woven fabrics and other easy to hook wire fabric, especially for synthetic filament textured yarn and fabric hook wire performance, which can quickly detect fabric wear under normal conditions produce snagging phenomenon is the degree of difficulty (coming out from the fabric yarn hook).
